I have e-mailed before but wanted to remind you if you heard from someone, especially with the DNA work you are doing let me
know.  The family, Joseph and Elizabeth Couch came to this country circa 1834 to 1839.  Elizabeth and Joseph were born in
England along with their first two children.  I found them on the 1850 census of Mount Pleasant--North Salem, Westchester County,
NY.  The boys were 16 at the time.  There were 9 other children.  Samuel 12, Thomas 10, Elizabeth 9, Theodore Baylis 7, Phalo
(not sure of writing)5, Redelphus (not sure again)3 and John W. 2 months.

Joseph was a stone cutter and aged 36 at the time of the 1850 federal census, his wife was 35.  My line comes from Theodore
Baylis Couch born 1843 in Mount Pleasant, NY who married a Webber Ossining of Westchester county.  They had 4 children that I
can ascertain. William Henry born 1872, Elizabeth Imogene born 1874m Camellia or Camille born 1876 and John Milton born 1872.
Other surnames connected with this family are Washburn and Rose.  Other person searching to information on this Couch family is
Elenore Marquez of Fairfield CA.  Also found Joseph Couch on 1880 census as found on FHL index.  His birth year was 1811 and on
1880 census lived in Edgewater, Richmond, Staten Island, NYC family history Library film #1254923, NA film #T9-0923 pg #322 C.
Do not know anything else about this family except for John Milton Couch line.
