Joseph was in Ashe County North Carolina 1800 census then moved to Knox Co. Tennessee with Two Son's and 6 daughters.
Joseph probably moved west when John Couch of Kentucky family came west about 1807. I have not been able to find out very
much on him because the 1810 and 1820 census of that part of Tennessee are missing. If anyone can find someone who is workin
on this line please let me know. I would like to find a living male Couch to Take the DNA.

Note: I now doubt that the David that is Limestone Co. Alabama is the same as this David. The one in Limestone seem to be older
than this one and was also on the 1830 census of Limestone Co. Alabama and the 1840. And the children are not the same in 1830.
