John Sr. died 1813. had lots of the land that James Couch Sr. got as a land grant. In 1807 he sold or gave it to Benjamin, Benjamin,
ended up with most of James land grant. Benjamin died 1816 so that left Levi as the oldest Couch on James Couch property.
And he would have been Nathan Uncle . Nathan was probably still living next to Levi at time of his mother death.
So he probably stayed with Uncle Levi.
John & Winnie also had a John Jr. married to a Rebecca that also went into the same area of Georgia .. Clark Co. around Athens Ga
That put Gwinnett, Clark, and Franklin almost gogether.I never saw anything where Levi was there but there was several letters left
at the Athen Post office for Levi that was never picked up. Benjamin son Chaney, my great great grandfather wife brother went to
Cherokee Co. Alabama and then Chaney and his brother in law came to Craighead Co. Arkansas, Kenion Couch also made it here To
Craighead County Arkansas.
There is just too much that put thes families together for it not to be that way But I don't really have any proof in a document.
